ONLYOFFICE: document collaboration in open-source environments
Efstathios Iosifidis

As people and organizations seek more independence from cloud services controlled and monitored by corporations, they turn to open source software that guarantees digital sovereignty, transparency, and higher security. ONLYOFFICE offers an open-source alternative to popular document editing and collaboration suites that ensures full user control over data and client-side performance, with low-effort integration in user’s environment of choice and full format and feature compatibility with all everyday documents.
Combining editors for text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms, ONLYOFFICE Docs provides professional and versatile editing instruments and collaborative tools that can serve both daily tasks at home and content editing among large distributed teams.
ONLYOFFICE Docs can be integrated in a Sync&Share service or CMS, used as a production component in software, or accessed in a full-stack ONLYOFFICE Workspace with document editing and management, projects, mail, CRM and communication. In this presentation, you will discover everything about ONLYOFFICE Docs and find out how to use it within your open-source environment.
