To keep FOSSCOMM a fun, interesting and positive experience for everyone, we expect participants to operate within certain frameworks:
FOSSCOMM aims to be a free, open and collaborative event. This means that we expect the cooperation of all FOSSCOMM participants and that everyone will treat everyone else with respect, including those who are different or think differently from us.
Please be considerate, helpful and friendly to all other participants and respect the environment. We do not condone harassment or offensive behavior at our conference. We consider it against our values as human beings. We express our strong and unequivocal support for the exemplary behavior of all participants.
We expect all participants to follow this Code of Conduct during the conference, in the talks, in the workshops, and generally on the conference venue and outside. This includes social events related to the conference, at off-site locations and related online communities and social media. Participants who are asked by staff to stop a particular behavior are expected to comply immediately. Conference participants who violate this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the conference and/or barred from official participation in future events.
Please direct any concerns to our coordination team (contact details below).
